Belinda Murphy

Belinda completed three years training at the “Performing arts school” in Dublin and went on to continue her dance studies in Las Vegas. She is now a qualified Irish dance teacher and Adjudicator.As a dancer Belinda has appeared in many musicals and cabarets both here and abroad. She has also choreographed “Jury’s Irish Cabaret”, “Sleeping Beauty” in The Point and “Messiah XXI” starring Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Roger Daltrey, Aiden Quinn and Jeffrey Osborne. Belinda was a dancer and assistant choreographer in the original “Riverdance”, at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994.

Her choreography can be seen on screen in film and drama series including; The Tudors, Camelot, Love\Hate, Leap Year and the upcoming Albert Nobbs starring Glen Close. Belinda has directed and choreographed “Celtic Thunder”, in Radio City Music Hall, New York and nationwide tours. Belinda now runs her own academy of dance, “Beldance Academy” for Irish Dance, and “Beldance Theatre Worx
